HISTORY
The beginnings of the DGL Advisory Group trace back to 2004 when Steve Decatur (D) and Denny
Goodrich (G) formed an advisory partnership. Their shared vision was clear; enhance the level of
investment advisory through the combination of two multi-decade careers. As the partnership solidified,
its success began to be felt by clients and colleagues. Carl Ladd (L), a fellow Moors & Cabot advisor,
understood the success of this partnership and soon the trio formed the cornerstone of today’s DGL
Advisory Group. While DGL’s numbers have expanded over the years, the original goal remains the
same: provide unparalleled high quality investment advisory services to our clients.

Moors & Cabot Investments
Moors & Cabot is an independent broker/dealer, operating in the heart of Boston’s financial district
since its founding in 1890. Our long history is a testament to the core principles of our founders:
integrity, honesty, and commitment to helping our customers.
In 1890, thirteen years before the New York Stock Exchange was where it stands now, John F. Moors
and Charles Cabot established a small investment firm in Boston’s financial district. Its mission then: to handle the personal investments of their families and their friends. Through time, that mission has expanded. Today, Moors & Cabot manages the assets of thousands of investors from our Boston headquarters and branch offices throughout the country.
That doesn’t mean we’re big. It just means we’re good at what we do—understanding wealth management and financial planning for our clients. We’ve done it through two world wars; the market
crashes of 1907, 1929, and 1987; countless panics; numerous recessions; the dotcom bubble; the
housing bubble; and the daily ups and downs of an ever-changing financial landscape.
Through it all, Moors & Cabot Boston has prevailed. And, more importantly, so have our clients.
